How to do it
- Stand steadily beside a stable support, or sit on a stable chair with your feet planted.
- Relax your shoulders and breathe naturally. No counting, forced deep breaths or breath holding is needed.
- Allow about thirty seconds and finish when comfortable. If you still feel uncomfortable, keep resting rather than rushing to finish.
Make it easier
- Choose a seated position with stable support.
When to stop or adjust
- Stop for pain, marked dizziness or unsteadiness; settle into a stable seated or supported standing position.
