Easy march
Start slowly with small steps, let your arms swing naturally and stay able to speak in full sentences.

How to do it
- Stand on a level, nonslip floor with room to move, beside a stable support if needed.
- Breathe naturally and alternate small lifts of each foot with a natural arm swing. Start slowly, without high knees or deliberately fast arm swings; stay easy enough to speak in full sentences and avoid fatigue.
- When using this movement to warm up, keep it easy; if you do not yet feel ready for further activity, continue gently without working to fatigue.
Make it easier
- Lift your feet less, slow down and use a stable support if needed.
When to stop or adjust
- Stop for pain, marked dizziness or unsteadiness; settle into a stable seated or supported standing position.
